First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether mothers singing lullabies while bathing their newborns can improve bonding, reduce postpartum depression symptoms, and increase parenting confidence. About 98 healthy mothers and their full-term babies will take part. One group will bathe their baby three times a week for two weeks while singing a lullaby; the other group will receive standard care. Results will be measured right after birth and again two weeks later.
