First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if adding the drug lubiprostone to the standard bowel-cleansing drink (PEG-ELS) would improve colonoscopy preparation quality for hospitalized patients. It planned to compare prep quality and patient satisfaction before and after adding the drug. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
