First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study was designed to see if adding a medication called lubiprostone to the standard bowel-cleansing drink helps hospital patients get a better colonoscopy prep. It planned to compare prep quality before and after adding the drug in about 200 adults. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling anyone, so no results are available.
