PAH drug trial halted early, leaving questions unanswered

NCT ID NCT05764265

Summary

This study aimed to gather more information about the long-term safety and effectiveness of the experimental drug LTP001 for people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a serious lung and heart condition. It was designed as a follow-up for 31 people who had completed an earlier trial, allowing them to receive LTP001 for up to a year. However, the study was terminated early, so the planned long-term data on how well the drug works was not collected.
