Mind over microdose: study reveals how beliefs shape LSD's effects
NCT ID NCT07061886
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at how knowing or not knowing you took a tiny dose of LSD (13 micrograms) changes your mood, behavior, and decision-making. Healthy adults will be split into four groups: some are told exactly what they get (LSD or placebo), others are kept uncertain. Researchers measure feelings, drug effects, and social decisions to understand the role of expectations in microdosing.
