Glow-in-the-Dark dye could help surgeons spot hidden breast cancer

Summary
This study tests a new dye called LS301-IT that makes cancer cells glow during breast cancer surgery. About 100 women with early-stage breast cancer or DCIS will receive the dye before their partial mastectomy. The goal is to see if the dye is safe and helps surgeons remove all cancer while sparing healthy tissue.
