New hope for tough cancers: experimental drug enters human testing

NCT ID NCT07498725

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a new drug called LRK-4189 to see if it is safe and might help treat advanced solid tumors, especially colorectal cancer. About 120 adults whose cancer has worsened despite treatment will take the drug alone or combined with standard chemotherapy for up to three years. The main goals are to find the safest dose and see if the drug shows any early signs of working against the cancer.
