Could less radiation mean fewer side effects for throat cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07178301

Summary

This study is testing whether a lower dose of radiation to healthy lymph nodes in the neck can reduce treatment side effects while still effectively curing HPV-related throat cancer. It will enroll 100 adults with early-stage cancer who have not had prior treatment. The goal is to maintain excellent cure rates while improving patients' quality of life by reducing radiation-related toxicities.
