Could less radiation be enough for some throat cancers?

NCT ID NCT06554158

Summary

This study is testing a gentler radiation treatment for people with HPV-positive throat cancer who have already had surgery. Researchers want to see if using a lower radiation dose and targeting only the neck (instead of the original tumor site too) works as well as the standard, more intense treatment. The goal is to control the cancer while potentially reducing side effects and improving quality of life for participants.
