Summary
This study tests whether a blood test that detects HPV DNA can guide doctors to safely use a lower dose of radiation for people with HPV-related throat cancer. About 45 adults with early-stage HPV-positive oropharyngeal cancer will receive radiation and chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the lower dose works as well as the standard dose while causing fewer side effects.
