Cheaper, gentler relief for women after pregnancy loss?

NCT ID NCT06909123

Summary

This study is testing if a half-dose of the medication cabergoline works as well as the full dose to prevent painful breast engorgement and milk production after a second-trimester abortion or pregnancy loss. Researchers want to see if the lower dose is just as effective while causing fewer side effects like dizziness and nausea, and at a lower cost. The study will involve 36 participants who will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard or the reduced dose.
