Gentle radiation could boost cancer drug power

Summary
This study is testing whether adding very low doses of radiation can help targeted drugs work better for people with mantle cell lymphoma that has returned or hasn't responded to previous treatments. About 80 patients will receive one or two days of low-dose radiation before starting a drug therapy that avoids traditional chemotherapy. Researchers hope this approach helps control the cancer longer with fewer side effects.
