Gentler surgery could get patients home sooner

Summary
This study is testing if using lower air pressure inside the abdomen during laparoscopic colon surgery helps patients' bowels 'wake up' faster after the operation. Researchers will compare different pressure levels and devices in 125 adults having this type of surgery. The main goal is to see if lower pressure leads to quicker recovery of normal bowel function, less pain, and a shorter hospital stay.
