Summary

This study tests whether using warm and humidified carbon dioxide gas during low-pressure laparoscopic colorectal surgery can reduce pain 24 hours after the procedure, without needing strong painkillers like opioids. About 148 adults having colorectal surgery for benign or malignant tumors will be randomly assigned to receive either warm/humidified gas or standard cold/dry gas. The goal is to improve recovery and comfort after surgery.
