NCT ID NCT04230096
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested whether low-level laser therapy (LLLT) can reduce pain, speed up tooth movement, and improve gum health in people getting braces. 108 Pakistani adults aged 18-30 with mild crowding received either LLLT or no laser during their first six months of treatment. The goal was to see if a quick, non-invasive laser application at each visit could make orthodontic treatment more comfortable and efficient.
