NCT ID NCT07266961
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether a gentler form of resistance training, using blood flow restriction cuffs, could improve heart and lung fitness in women aged 60 and older as well as a more intense workout. Sixty women completed the study, and both exercise methods led to similar gains in fitness and effort levels. The gentler method was found to be safer for older adults while providing the same benefits.
