First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a low dose (10 mg) of the statin drug rosuvastatin can effectively lower LDL cholesterol in Korean adults who need cholesterol-lowering therapy. Researchers enrolled 242 participants with different risk levels, including those with heart disease, very high cholesterol, or diabetes. The main goal was to measure how much LDL cholesterol dropped after 8 weeks of treatment.
