Gentler radiation tested for stubborn skin cancer spots
NCT ID NCT03398161
Summary
This study is testing whether very low doses of radiation can effectively control skin lesions caused by mycosis fungoides, a type of skin lymphoma. It aims to see if this approach can manage the disease while potentially causing fewer side effects than standard, higher-dose radiation. The trial will enroll about 50 patients with measurable skin lesions to track how well the treatment works and how long the benefits last.
