Half-Dose heart drug trial could save more lives with better brain recovery

Summary
This large study will test whether giving a lower dose of epinephrine (adrenaline) during emergency treatment for cardiac arrest outside hospitals helps more patients survive with good brain function. Over 4,300 adult patients will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard dose or a half-dose during resuscitation. Researchers will compare survival rates and brain recovery between the two groups over 28 days.
