First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a low dose of emicizumab works better than standard factor VIII therapy for controlling bleeding and protecting joints in people with hemophilia A. Eighteen patients aged 8-28 who were already on factor VIII but still had joint problems switched to low-dose emicizumab. Researchers will track bleeding rates, joint health scores, and quality of life over 8 months to see if the switch leads to better outcomes.
