Summary
This study tested whether a low dose of a sedative drug called dexmedetomidine could help women leave the hospital faster after same-day breast cancer surgery. 82 women took part, receiving either the drug or a placebo. The main goal was to see if more women could be discharged within 2 hours after surgery.
