First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study aims to see if low-dose buprenorphine, a partial opioid, is less addictive than oxycodone while providing similar pain relief. Healthy volunteers will receive different doses of buprenorphine, oxycodone, or a placebo in separate sessions. Researchers will measure pain tolerance and drug liking to compare safety and effectiveness.
