Diet test aims to stop prediabetes in its tracks

NCT ID NCT06451055

Summary

This study is testing whether an 8-week low-calorie diet can reverse early signs of high blood sugar, known as isolated impaired fasting glucose, which is a form of prediabetes. It will enroll 34 overweight or obese adults aged 35-65 who are physically inactive. The goal is to see if this specific diet improves blood sugar control and liver health, while also checking if the plan is practical and acceptable for participants.
