Back pain breakthrough? study tests skipping the Doctor's office
NCT ID NCT05626049
Summary
This study is testing a new approach for treating common low back pain. It compares whether patients do better if their first visit is with a physical therapist or chiropractor, instead of their regular doctor. The goal is to see if this leads to less pain, better physical function, and reduces unnecessary tests, medications, and procedures. The study involves about 1,800 adults with low back pain.
