Summary
This study tests whether a combination of fish oil (Lovaza) and curcumin (from turmeric root) can reduce the size of lung nodules in current and former smokers aged 55 and older. Nineteen participants took the supplements for 6 months to see if nodules shrank and if the treatment was safe. The goal is to lower the risk of lung cancer without needing surgery or strong drugs.
