First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested whether a steroid eye drop called loteprednol can reduce pain after eye injections for age-related macular degeneration. 64 people who already get these injections received either loteprednol or artificial tears after one visit. Their pain was tracked over a week using a 0-10 scale. The goal is to find a simple way to make these injections more comfortable.
