New combo therapy aims to control ALK-positive lung cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding local treatments (like radiation or surgery) to the targeted drug lorlatinib can better control ALK-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer. About 30 people who have not had prior targeted therapy will take lorlatinib for 12 weeks, then may receive local therapy. The goal is to improve disease control and monitor side effects.
