Doctors track 10-Year results of common bladder leakage surgery
NCT ID NCT04829994
Summary
This study is checking how well a specific surgical mesh sling (called TVT EXACT) works for controlling stress urinary incontinence over 5 to 10 years after surgery. It involves 198 women who had the procedure to stop urine leakage caused by coughing or sneezing. Researchers are measuring long-term success by seeing if patients pass a simple cough test and by asking them about their improvement and quality of life.
