Summary
This study follows up on women who took a low dose of tamoxifen (5 mg daily for three years) to see if it continues to prevent breast cancer over many years. The original trial found a 42% reduction in breast cancer events over ten years. Researchers will combine data from three studies to better understand who benefits most, especially based on menopausal status.
