10-Year checkup: does this common incontinence surgery hold up?
NCT ID NCT04829357
Summary
This study is checking how well a specific surgical sling (the TVT ABBREVO®) works for treating stress urinary incontinence over a very long period—5 to 10 years after surgery. It will follow 195 women who had the procedure to see if it successfully stops urine leakage and how they feel about the results. The goal is to gather real-world, long-term safety and effectiveness data on this already-approved device.
