Summary
This study aimed to check the long-term safety of a medication called cytisinicline, taken three times a day for a full year, to help people stop smoking cigarettes or vaping. It involved 479 people in the United States who had previously been in related studies and wanted to quit. The main goal was to see if taking the medication for this extended period caused any serious side effects.
