Eye implant for rare vision loss gets Long-Term safety check

Summary
This study looks at the long-term safety of an eye implant called NT-501 for people with MacTel type 2, a rare disease that causes vision loss. About 285 adults who already received the implant in earlier studies, or who had a sham procedure, can join. The goal is to monitor side effects and see if the implant helps slow damage to the retina over time.
