Summary
This study looked at the long-term safety of a drug called MCI-196 in 116 adults with advanced kidney disease who are on dialysis and have high phosphate levels. The goal was to see if the drug is safe to take over time and if it helps control phosphate levels. Participants took flexible doses of the drug for up to a year.
