Summary

This study tested the long-term safety and effectiveness of a drug called CTP-543 in 407 adults with moderate to severe alopecia areata, a condition that causes patchy or complete hair loss. Participants had already completed 24 weeks of treatment in a previous trial. The goal was to see if the drug remains safe and helps maintain hair regrowth over time. Results will help determine if CTP-543 can be a reliable long-term treatment option.
