Summary
This study follows adults who had shoulder tendon transfer surgery as children for obstetric brachial plexus palsy, a nerve injury during birth. Researchers will measure pain, arm movement, strength, and social appearance anxiety in 80 participants and compare them to healthy peers. The goal is to understand long-term outcomes of this surgery, since little is known about how patients do decades later.
