Dissolvable screw in young feet: 5-year check-up launched

NCT ID NCT06525532

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at how a dissolvable implant used to correct foot deformities in children and teens holds up over time. Researchers will use MRI scans and clinical exams to see if the implant has broken down properly and how well the foot functions at least 5 years after surgery. The goal is to gather long-term safety and effectiveness data, not to test a new treatment.
