This study tracked 150 adults who had severe COVID-19 pneumonia to see how often they develop long-term lung damage. Researchers used CT scans to check for lung scarring and other breathing issues. The goal is to better understand the lasting effects of severe COVID-19, similar to what was seen after earlier coronavirus outbreaks.
