Scientists track patients for 15 years after groundbreaking transplant cell therapy

Summary
This study is tracking the long-term safety of an experimental cell therapy given to kidney transplant patients. The therapy, called CAR-Treg, is designed to help the body accept the new kidney and reduce rejection. Researchers will follow 11 patients for up to 15 years to monitor their health and the function of their transplanted kidney.
