Diabetes research institute tracks Long-Term transplant success

Summary
This study follows people with Type 1 diabetes who previously received experimental islet cell transplants to see how well the treatment continues to work over time. Researchers will monitor about 30 participants who still have functioning transplanted cells and are taking immune-suppressing medications. The goal is to collect long-term safety and effectiveness data to better understand the lasting benefits of this treatment approach.
