Summary

This study aims to understand the long-term social and psychological effects on young adults who have recovered from NMDA receptor encephalitis, a rare autoimmune brain disease. Researchers followed 20 patients to assess how the disease affects their daily lives, work, education, and social relationships after the initial acute phase. The goal is to improve long-term care by identifying persistent challenges and developing better support recommendations.
