Doctors track Long-Term results of ultrasound treatment for painful bowel condition
NCT ID NCT07179419
Summary
This study checks how well a focused ultrasound treatment works over the long term for people with rectal endometriosis, a condition where uterine-like tissue grows in the bowel wall causing pain. Researchers are following up with 140 patients who previously received this non-invasive treatment. They will measure changes in symptoms and quality of life by having patients fill out surveys and answer phone calls.
