Summary

This study follows 30 adults with liver cirrhosis and a history of bleeding from high blood pressure in the liver. They will have a surgery called laparoscopic splenectomy and azygoportal disconnection. The goal is to see how their blood fat levels (like cholesterol) change over 2 years. This is an observational study, meaning no new treatment is tested—just careful monitoring to learn more.
