Year-Long test aims to see if DMD pill can preserve muscle strength

NCT ID NCT06867107

Summary

This study follows up to 10 boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) who took an experimental oral drug called SAT-3247 in a previous trial. The goal is to check the long-term safety and see if taking the pill for a total of 12 months (including the first trial) can help control the disease by slowing muscle loss. Researchers will measure changes in arm muscle fat, strength, and function over time.
