Can a 5-Day diet every few months keep the weight off for good?
NCT ID NCT07255300
Summary
This study is following up with people who previously tried a special 5-day 'fasting-mimicking' diet (FMD) to see if continuing the diet every three months helps them keep the weight off and maintain improvements in heart health markers for a full year. It involves about 135 adults aged 30-65 who were in an earlier diet study. The main goal is to see if at least half of the fat lost in the first study can be kept off long-term.
