First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at how the drug carvedilol, typically used for heart conditions, affects brain scans over three years in 15 people who have a high risk of developing Parkinson's disease. Participants have REM sleep behavior disorder and other early signs. The goal is to see if carvedilol changes dopamine levels in the brain, which could help understand Parkinson's progression.
