Doctors track bladder surgery results for up to 8 years
NCT ID NCT02255994
Summary
This study followed 75 women for 5-8 years after bladder prolapse surgery to compare two different repair methods. Researchers wanted to see which approach had better long-term results with fewer complications and less recurrence. The study specifically looked at whether using a surgical mesh provided better outcomes than traditional repair without mesh reinforcement.
