First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a brain monitor (EEG) during children's surgery can prevent behavior problems that sometimes happen after anesthesia. About 230 children aged 3-10 who had surgery will be checked 1-2 years later using a questionnaire. The goal is to learn if EEG-guided anesthesia leads to better long-term behavior compared to standard care.
