Tracking heart rhythm years after ablation: which treatment lasts?
NCT ID NCT06526546
Summary
This study follows 364 people with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AFib) who previously received either a newer pulsed field ablation or traditional thermal ablation treatment. Researchers are tracking these patients for several years to see how their heart rhythm condition progresses and whether one treatment approach leads to better long-term results than the other. This is an observational study that collects data but doesn't provide any new treatment to participants.
