Scientists hunt for lingering COVID virus clues in the body

Summary

This study aims to understand if inactive pieces of the COVID-19 virus remain in the body after recovery and might be linked to long COVID symptoms. Researchers will collect and analyze tissue samples from 12 adults who have recovered from COVID-19, some with and some without ongoing neurological problems. The goal is to map where these virus remnants might be hiding to learn more about the causes of long COVID.
