Could a daily ultrasound zap to the spleen ease long COVID fatigue?
NCT ID NCT06189066
Summary
This small, completed pilot study tested whether a gentle, daily ultrasound treatment aimed at the spleen could help people with Long COVID. Fifteen participants used a wearable device for 8 weeks to see if it could reduce their fatigue and improve how far they could walk. The main goal was to check if the approach was safe and showed any early signs of helping with common Long COVID symptoms.
