What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Mitoquinone (MitoQ) dietary supplement

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a simple supplement-and-exercise plan to help older adults recover from Long-COVID and improve blood vessel health.

What could go wrong

This is an early-stage study with only 300 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. MitoQ is a supplement, not a proven treatment, and the study focuses on blood vessel function, not direct symptom relief.
